You can often find a secluded pool perfect for a refreshing dip or a spot of fly-fishing

The sheltered river is great to kayak up or down when the lake is rough

Kayaking above the dam, whcih is 5km up the river track

A tennis court located along the marae can also provide entertainment on a windy day
Local events;
There is an annual residents seagull motor race, along with other events organised by the Resident's Association. This year the Warratahs band performed over the New Year Period.
